Drizzly today - haven't looked at my caliper pins or brake pad pins in a couple of years....so today is "lube day".
The pads I check every few mos. by using the camera.

Then I clean and use a bit of anti seize paste on the threads of the 5mm pad pins and reinstall.
Those 5mm pins go in
hand tight - then very,
very little more with a small socket.

Some day, the pads will wear out and I will have to go back in there....happy to find that things are
not stuck.
