Stig & Yag, thanks for the informative references. Had just pulled the plugs on our boats kicker. Just a bit rich according to the pics. Thanks again

It might not be too rich, your plug might be too cold of a heat range. Unless you're using the heat range recommended by the manufacturer, then it'd be too rich.

It is the proper plug. After reading your response I checked with boat mechanic. He said Honda motors used primarily for trolling will show a slightly richer burn. Guess we will have to open her up a few times.
