Oil in wrong place
« on: July 25, 2015, 10:49:38 PM »
Hi:  I have a 2009 KYMCO UXV 500 side by side.  Please see the attached picture.  Does anyone know what that black plug designated to the left of the arrow is?  It's a rubber plug that comes out and I accidentally put oil into it the opening.  ?????  Help would be appreciated on what I screwed up.

Kymco Parts Monster diagram shows that cover is for a pull starter which may not be there if it is electric start.

Please confirm this by removing that plastic cover and cleaning out the oil. Don't think it would cause any problem BUT.....
