No power to 2007 Kymco people 150
« on: August 27, 2015, 10:44:11 PM »
Hello! I have a 2007 Kymco People 150. The engine will no longer turn over. As the key is turned fully to the "ON" position with choke off, nothing happens: no turn over as I press the start button, not even the gas gauge moves as it once did. Kickstart also doesnt work. I replaced the solenoid about a year ago. New battery with full charge. No lights work when turned on as well. 15,000 miles on the scooter. Oil changes every 1000 miles.

ANY ADVICE ON WHAT TO CHECK AND HOW TO CHECK IT? I have a volt meter, hopefully I can check things with that....

I appreciate any help!

Make sure to check the main fuse in the glove box. Number one. You don't get any horn honking or anything? How "new" is the battery? Has the bike sat for a long period of time?

How old is the battery? You need a volt meter to check voltage. If the batt is completely discharged I'm afraid a new batt is in order. Complete discharge means 5v or less.
