Airsal T6 50cc...?
« on: September 09, 2015, 01:20:20 AM »
Like many others I put an airsal T6 70cc on my scoot.
Was looking to do the same on my 04 lc when I come across
a decription for a 50cc T6 claiming performance equal to most 70cc cast iron kits.
Sounds a bit doubtfull. So the question is has anybody tried the 50cc T6 on a super 9 lc and if so how was it ? I kinda like the idea of keeping it 50cc !

Never tried one, I was close before but figured I would just do 70cc. The porting is really aggressive, which means you need a good race pipe tuned to the 49cc powerband to get anything close to the power of a sport 70cc. Would be a little screamer tho!!!

Yeah I bet it would be a screamer ! Price is about the same. If it were a lot cheaper I would probably do it but as its about the same as the 70cc it seems kind of expensive to try. Perhaps someone here has done it and would recommend...

Big question is are you gonna ride wide open alot . long distance at full throttle? Cause i would get malossi kit . double ring piston kit . just my opinion. Cause the race kits are sick . but the have single ring piston  and they hate long distane 50 mph steady .. Lol just saying get extra rings .

Look up scooterpartsco .com they got get deals on super9 right now.

Totally agree, single ring kit needs new rings in less than 1500 miles.

There's a decent lc s9 here for 700, an almost mint ac s9 for 850. I've had to stop myself from draining the account many times.  If anyone around here knew that instead of the crappy brand new China bikes for 800 that they would get a fine machine they would be gone.
