Not to much info on service for that bike, but shouldn't be much worse than any other 600cc. Belt prolly lasts 20,000 miles. Cool looking bike too.

You do know that BMW stands for Bring Moore Wallet right? ;)

Not sure of the exact intervals but if you have the dealer service it, it won't be cheap.  The same is true of the other maxi scooters as well.  If you can service it yourself it shouldn't be too bad.

If service for a kymco is insane here in argentina. Wont bother on asking at bmw motorrad!!
My like on the 1000km service was 800 (90 usd) and the only expense they had was less than a qt of mineral cheep oil 6 usd.
To have a dealer perform a service is insane.. so 10 times its cost would be expected!

BMWs are like beautiful women. HIGH MAINTENANCE! Another is they're not as bullet proof as the 80s and earlier models. Too many bells and whistles to break. Once they do not just any shop can repair them, only the dealers have the tools/knowledge and diagnostic equip to do it right and not just change parts. Just like their cars.
