Saying hello from Birmingham UK......and looking to add a 700 Myroad to my garage come the Spring.

Currently own ...Suzuki 1200s Bandit, Suzuki 650 Burgman Executive, Suzuki 400 Burgman.

I'm interested to know what Myroad owners think of the 700...look forward to any info/opinions you can pass on, before I part with my cash !

I've been lurking here for about 6 months, learning what I could about my 500i and enjoying the forum. Have now traded my 500i for a 700i.

How about a update on you 700.  I thinking of it instead of a Suzuki 650,had one but the $5000.00 belt broke. Never again. My 500 xciting dropped a valve,less than a year old.  Have a Suzuki MC  c50 but miss the scoots. Thanks

I just got a 700 MyRoad this weekend. I tried the burgman exec first but it put pressure on my lower back and only way legs did not hurt was stretched out. The 700 I have none of these problems. It did take me 15 min to fix my mirrors to the way I like them. They are mounted weird compared to other motorcycles. I got it to ride with my wife and we could not afford a bigger bike and she does not like cruisers. Bike is powerful and has tons of storage.

There is a dealer outside MSP that last week was offering a leftover 2014 brand NEW 700i MyRoad for $5999 + $225 in fees.
If I didn't already have my Burgman 650 I'd be riding back to Las Vegas right now on a new 700i MyRoad.
I had a xciting 500ri and liked it, but the smoothness and power of the 650 with twin cylinders makes a BIG Difference.  I also like the 700i because it is far less complex than the Burgman 650.  To be honest with you, before I would get a 2013 or newer redesigned smaller Burgman 650 I would certainly look at getting a 700i MyRoad.

That's way over priced. The belt is only $350 at Ron Ayers online. Now if there are other things needed then parts could be as high as $1,600. Labor generally runs $900-1,200 if you choose to have someone do the repairs, not cheap true but not $5,000.
