Best Electrical Contact Cleaner?
« on: December 22, 2015, 02:10:10 AM »
What is the recommended brand of electrical contact cleaner for switchgear on our scooters?
Safe with plastics? Lubricates as well as cleaning?
Doing a little PM this winter on the switches.
Never used any before.
Thanks, Stig

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

WD-40

The WD stands for water disbursement. Lubricates slightly. Does not gum up connections.
When used under pressure will blow out debris.
On the negative side, WD-40 is not a rust preventer per say.
