The idle is even easier with the seat pan out. My question is, does the carburetor have an air/fuel mix screw?

This is referred to as the pilot screw in the service manual. Same thing right? Has a cap over it and has a special head on the screw. If so, then yes it does.

I think it is a "D" shaped screw driver but not sure. I have heard of people using a dremel tool to grind a notch into it and then just use a regular screwdriver. I would not be brave enough to try that as it may just break the head off alltogether. Maybe someone can chime in here with a little more definitive answer.
