help/ advice required please!
« on: February 14, 2016, 09:58:36 AM »
good morning guys, i have a little problem that requires your help.
i bought one of these:-

http://www.tomtop.com/steelmate-diy-tp90-tpms-for-motorcycle-tire-pressure-monitoring-system-with-waterproof-external-sensor-wireless-lcd-display-k2597.html

i thought it would be a simple install because there is only 2 wires, black= (ground/ earth) and red= (live) now, the problem i have is that it has to be switched on with the ignition!
ground, i understand can be attached to the frame anywhere but the live wire i'm at a loss with!! i have a wiring diagram in front of me but it may as well be a plate of spagetti!! i thought ALL live wires would be RED for some reason, silly me!!
anyhow, thanks in advance for your input, replies and help
cheers,
Don.

Hey guys, thanks for your help, after much thinking and head scratching I decided to do exactly like de Dee suggested and it works perfectly!!
Haven't had time to do a comparison with an ordinary tyre pressure gauge yet, but from memory the last time I checked they were both about right.
I'll let you know how it goes  :D
