Took the scoot to a shop and they replaced idle jet. Runs like a champ with Technigas now. Now I want to find an aftermarket air intake and replace that unsightly air filter box. Any suggestions on where to look?

Thanks for suggestions guys. How do i know which one fits. Is the opening size all that matters? Will I need to mess with jetting again?

The opening, and the over all size that will fit your body style. I recommend keeping all the stock air box parts as sometimes you can re-use a snorkel/clamp to make a better fit. You will need to re-re-jet. Usually 3-4 sizes up does it. Say you have an 88 main, Try a 95. Re adjust the idle mix screw to richen up the bottom end too.
