Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Hi there,
I am new to this board, having found you guys recently. I have just bought a Super 9 LC and I can't wait for spring to get it on the road.
My question is, as the title would suggest, about SS brake lines.
Has anyone done this type of upgrade to their scoot?
Are they available as a pre-made kit for the Super 9, or do you have to buy a DIY.
Who have you gotten them from? What are your experiences with them?

Goodridge makes SS brake lines for scooters!  I have used their products on mountain bikes for years and they are the best quality I have seen!  I didn't see a kit specifically for the Kymcos, but I bet if you contacted them they would have something for you!  You can go to their website, goodridge.net, which is being revised, but they have a link to download their full product manual.  It explains everything you need to know about how to measure your existing lines and fittings to get all the correct pieces to make a replacement line.  Once again, top quality brake lines!!!

I,ll tell you, There is sooo much cool stuff going on at Jiangwayne I get lost in all the things they do. Check out their custom scoots. They are a VERY TIGHT KNIT SHOP. They also race in Asia, and have first hand experience with everything they sell. It was thru them I got the factory link for the suitai cdi. They sell it for $129.99- Factory direct is $39.99. If you want something for your scoot that they believe will not do what you want, they will not sell it to you. Strange sounding business plan I know, but I Have been dealing w/ them for 2+ years, and I believe they are the most Knowledgeable shop I have come across. They are the guys sending my rear shock. All I can say about the super 9 is YOU have the baddest scoot there is. There is a fella at jiangwayne that does all the Email. If you email him w/ a budget/goals for your scoot he will make up a wish list for you. You can shop around for better prices, but if you want a full blown factory race set up, listen to them for what parts to use. I know most people won't go to the trouble of sending an engine to Canada, but IF you want ball$ to the wall power, They will build, and warranty for you

I am in Toronto, so the fact that they are in Canada makes it all the better.
Once it warms up a touch here (-11 C today), I am going to see what has been done to this machine by previous owners.
Apparently it has been paced at speeds that, if they are true, tell me it has been.. errr, de-restricted.

I am looking at jiangwayne prices... 10" Dunlop D306 tires are 80 US$.
I buy them for 50 US$, 23 % VAT included.

280 US$ for universal master brake cylinder?
200 US$ for calipers?

I understand these could be performance parts but whole Baotian 50 cc 4-stroke scoot is around 600 US$.

No doubt Jiangwayne is expensive. Everyday parts seem to cover their operating expenses. It's the true high end stuff that they are competitive on. I also ask when the part I want will be on sale before ordering. Like I said they even gave me the connect w/ their source for a better price. They don't really do volume in sales, more like specialize in one of "custom" builds. They also will only take in 3 jobs a week for their shop. I believe these guys are more like a fledgling formula 1 team, trying to support their passion w/ a high end shop.
