Does anyone know what if any oil goes in the transmisson? I am going to service the entire bike after swaping my piston this weekend.

Yes, it's usually about 100cc of 90w gear oil. I use the Honda Hypoid Gear Oil SAE 80W90. I just fill mine up till it starts to come out the fill hole. There should be a link to the service manual on this site.
