SPRING CLEAN UP
« on: April 11, 2010, 10:04:14 AM »
just a little update on my CK125. having riden through our loverly english winter :-\ and the over use by our local council of rocksalt to treat the ice roads im quite made up of how the little bike has cleaned up :)
i used a good amount of a lubricant similar to WD-40 to treat all the plated and shiney parts but in general for a cheaply made bike the condition has stood up well to the abuse.

today i cleaned up and lubed the chain.....which still doesnt need adjusting!! seems very good quality ;) also, the very clean looking centre stand is because in february i removed it, treated all the rust, red primered it and sprayed it black. this is the only component that seems to have taken a battering.

the clocks........i know, i havnt done that many km's but it all still looks well ;D the time clock in the centre is actually an aftermarket one, fits in well doesnt it? i only wanted to fit it as it covers yet another KYMCO badge that they seem too happy to plaster all over the bike ;D

another recent mod, a halogen conversion bulb ;) this is still the same fittment and 35/35w rating, much brighter ;)

MY ZX is in the shed sobbing... Man that is clean! And I sure love the flow from the tank to the saddle. A front fairing would sure pull the front end into the sexy zone. My compliments Bro!
