..just in case any of you guys' starter has quit, i finally got around to investigating what was wrong wih mine...

..since i had one on that junker Marshin I bought, i thought that maybe it would work on my A50..

..the output shaft's were of different length, so I opened my starter to see what i could swap out..

..I found that the two magnets had broken free of the outer casing..

..this was the "squalling, screeching" sound i would here when trying to start...

..so I used the casing from the Marshin, and the armature assembly from mine and i now have my pushbutton start again..

..i'd forgotten how nice that is...lol..

You can epoxy the Mags. back in the original case. It's a bitch getting the brushes back in huh!

....YES IT IS!!!!!....

..and i tHought about the epoxy thing....

..that $20.00 Marshin has payed for itself twice now...lol..

so now you can start the scoot at first push of the button ? mine one it's starting with buton just when Is already heated ,when  engine it's cold I finish the batery and the scoot doesn't start without kick start.

..try adjusting your idle mix screw....
