...sounds like you might have a wire going to ground somewhere...

..i had a very similar problem with my 2001 people..

..found a wire beneath the front cowl that had rubbed against the frame and was arcing to ground shorting the whole system...

Has anyone done this test?  Or does anyone know where the "green wire terminals" is?  I found the blue/yellow, that come strait from the stator.  I just cant seem to find the green terminal they are referring too.

Hi,

got the same problem over the winter.

Seems to me that cable from ignition coil to cap spark is just poor quality.....

Check this, cut a little bit and screw it back on.....also spark cap is poping out from heat if u like me are driving at high rpm at full throttle...

im still recovering from my accident, like to drive at this weather......damn car drivers

True, I have an aftermarket ignition coil on it.

And just to let everyone know I finally found the actual problem with the scooter!!!!!

It was the pulsar coil.  It was not grounding.  I did the test above and it wasn't grounding, so I moved down the wire till I ended up at the pulsar coil.  I removed the OEM one and soldered a new one and it have been running perfectly.
