That's where the rollers will help. they will increase the rpm's across the board. You can also change the springs in the clutch to a stiffer set delaying the time it takes the scoot to roll. This will kepp the rpms higher at take off, and give a better feel. What is the spacer you mentioned. it is washer with 3 prongs that looks like a diamond shape. it goes directly behind the kick start cetch and against the drive boss. the prongs hook into the variator fan notches. all the parts the dealer gave me made it goe faster. the problem i have is it dont pull worth a crap. almost like it has no power.

i went 1 gram lighter on the rollers today and it now preforms like it should. would'nt hurt to be a tad richer. way better pulling power and the rpm's sound like they should be. i did shave 2 mph off the top end but i can live with it, seeing as how i now get better overall speed up hills.

a big thanks to you guys for the help. i had a zx50 and i wish i had it back compared to 4 strokes.

Glad to hear it is working out. A little fine tuning of the air filt./carb. will gain the 2mph back, and maybe a few more to keep them company. You can have just as much fun tweaking that 4t as you can tuning a 2t. Us 2t'ers just like to SCREAM about it! Stick around DOOF! (always wanted to say that)
