Yager GT 200i vs People S 200
« on: August 03, 2009, 05:11:13 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to compare the performance of the heavier fuel-injected, liquid-cooled Yager GT 200i to the lighter carbureted, air-cooled People S 200?  Or is the Yager even available yet?  Thanks!

My wife just purchased a '10 Yager, now has first 1k miles. She went from buddy 125 to Grand Dink, I mean, Grand Vista 250, but found it too unbalanced for her taste. I rode it, and did not care for the balance. We've made a couple of runs of 100+ miles - it's quick off the line, I have to goose the X500 to keep up.

Judging from riding alongside her and comparing that to some scooter runs with People 250s, me thinks it keeps up just fine. On the road from San Antonio through the hill country to Austin, Texas, the Yager did pretty good during the break-in period when you can only use 3/4 throttle.
