is this Xciting for sale a 250 or 500cc.

The ad says it is a 2004 Xciting 250. I have talked with the owner and he also said it is a 2004.
But I have seen the picture of the bike, and the bike is orange in color. I have done some research and
it seems that there wasn't a 2004 and Xciting 250... or at least not one that came in orange color.
I am wondering if his bike is actually a Xciting 500 and he isn't aware of it. He has only had it two years.
I have 4,000 miles on it. The asking price is $2500. What do you think? Is there an orange 2004 250?

I have a burgandy zx... Anything is possible? Ps Mine was lime green in '01, and I was told by KYMCO USA there were no green zx's sold in the U.S. in '01. I have talked to both of the prior owners, and KNOW the scoot was bought from Solarno Cycles in St. Augustine Fl..  Maybe Fl. was not part of the Union in '01?

I don't know the answer to the color/year question.  I guess since the owner doesn't know for sure, I guess the emblem is removed or lost?  Only way I know to tell from a glance is the 500 variator/tranny case is MUCH bigger than the 250.  Looks as big as a whale on the left of the rear wheel. Check out pictures of my orange '07 500 in "New to me 500" topic on second page of Eye Candy forum here.  And, by the way, that case changes a little in appearance from year to year but 500's is always bigger I believe.

The 500 has an Emergency Brake Handle (Right Side below Handle Bars.
250 Doesn't.
