Hi Viz
« on: April 03, 2016, 04:38:31 AM »
New Trousers arrived today. I am now officially a Power Ranger.  Joking apart,  I gain confidence when riding that I am giving myself the best chance possible of being seen on the road.  I suppose it's a question of style or safety. For me safety will always come first

Good going! I wear a high-viz jacket and reflective tape on my scooter. I have no desire to look cool in all black leather as I am being peeled off the side of someones car.

Very good.
I've been HiVis for years and kinda like the look.
That said don't be fooled I got T-Boned in all yellow on a yellow spyder. She said she never saw me...
A bumble bee on a yellow bike the size of a small car and "she never saw me".

Ride safe and enjoy.

2nd that !!
Also hi viz here from day one,  three yrs ago.
Massive yellow guy going down the road. ...but I still watch 'em like an old guy riding on a scooter through America ... ;-)
You look good.  Often hi viz is the second choice of scooter riders. ...after they experience the many thrills of riding in cool black stealth mode on American streets.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Personally I think Hi Vis is much more stylish than all black which looks pretty boring to me.

I'd be interested in the specs, cost and brand of pants you bought. Looking into getting me a pair of overprints for a long multi day ride I'm planning this summer.
