 >:(Went for a short ride and the battery light came on. Turned around and headed home. About a block from the house scooter died, no lights no nothing. Scooter sat all winter. had to trickle charge to get it to start. After  charging went for a 25 mile ride no problems. Help please.

First, test the battery voltage.  Next check or a loose connection.  Report back.

Sounds lie your bike is not putting a good charge to the battery.
