CLOCK
« on: October 27, 2015, 06:07:31 PM »
I read my owner's manual to figure out how to set my clock which is now reading military time ( 1-24). I did not see in the om where to change from military time to civilian time (1-12 am/pm? The pictures in the om show the clock in civilian time. Help anybody?

I'll be watching for a reply to this. Mine is like yours, military time.

When I turn the bike on I don't see "AM/PM" so I think the clock is only military time.

Does the picture show "civilian time" or just a number before 13.....

I tried to insert a pic from the owners manual, it worked but the pic didn't open so I will need a little more practice at posting pics. On page 14 of the owner's manual to the left of the time is "AM"  it shows ( AM 10:00 )

The mystery is solved!! Just got out my om and on page 14 it does show AM on the display. However, when you first turn the key on, all lcd's  comes on for about a second, ie, all the numbers show up as 8's. There is no AM or PM displayed during this test period. Therefore, there is no AM or PM to display.

The manual is WRONG, oh  the humanity! They changed the bike and not the manual. Remain calm. MBA's have control.....

Anybody buy one new from a dealer? Take it to them and complain, especially if it's still in warranty.
