The Bestem box is cheap at 50 bucks and is easy to remove. You push the red button at the lower rear and it pops off to carry in the store, hotel room or your house. For the price this is probably the best you can get.

thanks, Dan. For $49.95, with free shipping, how can you go wrong? Just placed my order...(Bestem USA site was cheapest, Amazon had it for $69.95)

That's great lahawk. I'll take a pic of the installation from the bottom of the stock bike rack and specifically the 2 braces that come with the top box that the Bestem mounting plate bolts too. Took me about 15 min. to install with socket and wrench.
