Console / Tank Bag?
« on: May 19, 2016, 03:56:41 AM »
So I want to put a tank bag like thing in front of the seat between my feet. I tried looking up old threads but didn't find all the info I need.

Has anyone done this? Pics please.
How big did you go?
Brand, Model?
and the biggie, How did you attach it so that during a ride you didn't have to worry about it slipping off?
Would a magnetic motorcycle tank bag work? Is there enough metal under the plastic to hold it there?

Thanks for the quick reply guys. How do you attach it to the scoot? Or do you just let it float between your legs while riding? I'd like to attach it so the one with the velcro may be an option. I just don't want a shift in the bag while riding to distract me from the road.

There are attachment flaps and drings on the bag but I don't bother.
On my DT300 it never moves. I always have my rain gear at the bottom. I've never had it move even in some questional maneuvers........

It holds a ton of stuff.

Mine comes with a shoulder strap, velcro attachment (to the tunnel) and a strap that, I believe, is supposed to run under the foot rest and, then, under the frame. I only use the velcro, or gassing up wouldn't be possible, and have had it for 6 years without issue. Also, nice to be able to remove it , quickly, in sketchy areas.
