Simple procedure - the same as most motorcycle disk brakes.  The rear also has a parking brake in it - so it looks a bit different.  Just make sure no-one pulls the brake lever while you have the caliper off.

Right.  All you need is a flat head screwdriver and the right size allen wrench.  You don't need to take off the calipers.  Might need to squeeze or push/pull the calipers to get enough room to slide the new pads in.

Find the slotted screw on the caliper and take it out. (it's just a cap)  Then take out the allen head screw which is revealed underneath that.  Pull down and maybe jiggle the pads and they'll come out.  The thin clip that keeps em from vibrating around will probably fall out at that time too.  Pay attention to how it goes.  (arched end goes over the allen screw that you took out)

I'm going to be putting new pads in soon too.  Trying to research them a bit.  Might get ceramic.  My current pads/rotors are pulsing pretty bad and sanding the pads hasn't helped.  Gosh I hope my rotors aren't warped.

The front breaks on my 07 pulse very bad also, have since day one. Changed to sintered metal pads. No real change in pulse, but breaking is much better than stock.

Pulsing comes from the discs, not the pads.  They might not be warped though.  Have you tried cleaning your discs?  Usually they aren't warped and are either just dirty and need to be cleaned or given a light sanding to remove glaze.  Put it on a stand and have someone spin the wheel while you have the palm and fingers on the disc.  Feel for a pulsing either from the disc moving or the amount of drag from the surface changing.  If you can feel it - then it's something that can be fixed either by cleaning, sanding, or replacing the dics.  Clean the discs after testing them - because even the oil from your hands shouldn't be there...

Yeah, I used scotchbright on both front disks and sanded the pads several times.  Still does it.  If they're warped it isn't much though.  I'm going to try to find a do it yourself disk trueing tool.  Seems I saw one once.

hi there, when you buy new pads watch for the little pin on the pads for rear brake because the pin  is used for the hand brakesystem.
you can not use these on the front brakes or you have to get the pin off the pad
