What Cdi to buy?
« on: April 04, 2016, 07:41:13 PM »
Hello
I have tried 2 different Cdi Boxes and none of them seems to work as good as the orginal.
They make the scooter go faster but the idle is impossible to set without the wheel spinning with high throttle or no throttle at all.
Can someone please give me a link to a one that works like it should?

The Orginal is 30410-LEJ2-E10 2015.Mar 06

The ones ive tried are:

Bump!

No one know, witch to buy?

Since i have got an new carb the unrestricted Cdi have good throttle but when i try to give it som gas it just dies.
This is when the engine is warm, i always start it with the orginal.

I've used the KYMCO AGILITY/SENTO 50 DE-RESTRICTED CDi BOX #1844 from http://www.exportstrength.com/ (AKA Scooter Assassins).  You have to be careful since it's totally unrestricted and will run over 10,000rpm which is NOT good for long life.  It's fast, but you have to keep the rpm down to under 9,000rpm for decent engine life.  Still better than the stock 7,000rpm limit.  Running over 10,000 will grenade your variator sooner or later - with explosive results.

I just ran a 20mm carb in my scoot when I did that and it ran great...you may have to put a bigger idle jet in. and a 82 main jet...........
