TroutBum,
Very nice pix, and that seems like a pretty substantial ride on that scooter and that seat!
Well done and thanks for sharing!
(I'll say again - how smooth running is the drive train of these LIKE's - silky compared to my thumping 400 Burgman - makes the LIKE my first choice for relaxed urban riding, or on some deserted country roads at 45 mph)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Thanks folks I enjoyed the ride. The Like is surprising comfortable and seems to just want to run and run.

Kinda late seeing this and man, what a great place to ride. I've got to say this too, I've fallen in love with the looks of the Like much more than my P200. Comes closer to that classic scooter retro look. Also,  I never got up in the wine country while living in CA. It's on my list.

Yes, handsomely classic scoot - but don't let that stylishly Italian-looking seat fool you.
It is where Taiwan gets their revenge on USA riders for us not being tough enough on China's weekly threats to the island nation. Right in the old Keester!

That was the Achilles Heal of my P200. Tried an Alaska Sheepskin cover and helped some but not enough. I just surmised that these scoots generally are not ridden long distance and therefore one might avoid the dreaded; monkey butt and survive shorter jaunts.

I don't know. ....do smaller frame Asian riders complain as much as us Gringos about scooter seats?
It is not the first time I've found myself wishing I was not 6'3".

Really Tom, 6'3"? One of the prospective buyers for my Kymco was about that tall and probably 300+ and couldn't turn the handle bars without hitting his knees. Maybe you have short legs and a really long torso? Hope I didn't mischaracterize your torso as you may have abbs like the Hulk and dark and handsome. Please don't tell me you're a midget and did a lowering kit on your bike???

I'm a pretty small guy at 5' 6" and 150 lbs, but I still "feel the (seat) burn" after about 40 minutes on my scoot. Maybe they are just not the complaining types...
