My wife and I made the clump up mount Washington today. At least 2000 machines and I believe we were in the only KYMCO.

right after I asked, I looked up the NWS almanac for yesterday, high temp was 59°, even more significant were the winds less than 10mph, its usually in the 40s at best with 30+ mph wind
great weather at the summit.
I went up ther on a bikes only day during bike week about 15 years ago, temp was 71°, second highest temp on record for the summit

All those machines make for a really neat picture. So give us the details...how high did you go elevation wise and how did the 450i do on the climb up? Especially compared to other machines her size. I assume there were two of you riding in her.....

the summit is 6288, going by memory, I would say the parking lot is 6250
I cannot imagine being able to test the performance capabilities, reports are it was a crowded day, so it would be more like a parade to the top rather than a race

My wife and rode up in the 450i. The road itself was not that crowded. We could do 25 the whole way up and down no problem. Most people went in groups and it was a great ride. The 450i had absolutely no problems climbing the elevation at all. And the engine brake in high gear worked great with only minor applications of the brake to keep it safe. It was a blast
