New Exhaust, Rust inside...
« on: June 10, 2010, 06:01:26 PM »
Purcahsed the Next R tecnigas pipe from Provoscooter.  There seems to be rust on the inside of the pipes.  Would this cause any problems?  Or is it okay to install?

I had the same problem from moped hospital usualy a sign it's someones monkeyed return. The first one I bought was in a sealed box with tecnogas logo's.The rusty one came in an opened plastic bag with parts missing and the carbin canister had a stripped stud. One call and an email they sent me a new carbin canister free of charge. The rust shouldn't hurt if minor emagine what it will look like in a year.Inspect closly take pictures before install Complain if you feel it's used.By the way The rusty pipe works great cleaned up nice and now have a shiny brand new carbin canister for my other build ;D
Kymco peoples too many ;) I'm not an expert just a full time hobbiest.

Did you buy it new? If so, I would return it for another one, If I paid for new I expect new.
