Bald tire
« on: July 16, 2016, 03:15:10 AM »
I ordered new Michelin City Grips from Amazon yesterday. The rear tire on my Like has reached its limit. At 8700 miles it is passed the wear marks. Originally,  I was going to just buy the tires from  the dealer and have them install them. Unfortunately, they don't stock them. I will have them install them for me.

I was looking at my records....put the City Grips on at the suggestion of Vivo at 440 miles......for daily safer city work commuting in the wet.
The nylon Kendas were not inspiring during a couple of big spring rains.
As this was my 365 commuter I needed better.....the Michelins were much better.
Still down there at 10K. Some normal cupping at the rear....old service/tire guy at the dealer said this is a non issue with any tire as long as plenty of tread remaining.
He seems to be correct - though many freak when they see some cupping.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
