This is not my first time at a donut shop in the early morning.
But it is the first time I've seen a policeman here!
Nice young fellow.

Police officers are having a very difficult time. We are experiencing a total break down of society and the police have to deal with it.
IMHO, there is a big difference between peaceful protest, and murder, burning, and looting.
The former are expressing their opinions and frustrations trying to make a peaceful change, the latter are hard core criminals, and should be dealt with accordingly.

Whoa, this went into a dark direction. Can't say I agree fully. Nothing is ever that simple when it comes to social problems. Deep seated frustrations, anger and mistrust mix with a thousand other elements from criminals to those seeking social justice. The wrong word, look, a perceived threat or a real one can change a peaceful group into an angry mob.

On the other note, hope the officer had a safe day.

In today's climate, everyone's on edge. Police in extra danger. Many citizens at the boiling point, society at a crossroads. Maybe EVERYONE just needs to slow down and have a doughnut. All problems seem to go away when eating a donut. Lol.
