Why is my scooter tail light so big?
« on: August 30, 2016, 09:48:36 PM »
I'm embarrassed (not really) because I was behind two big bikes today, and my LIKE200i has a tail light that is many, many ,many times bigger than HD tail lights.
The lady had two small round tail lights, maybe 75% the size of an OREO.
His HD had a vertical tail light the size of the appointment card my dentist gives me for my wallet.

I would think that these 20,000cc bikes could make more electricity than that. Or are the bulbs that expensive?
Strange.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I've noticed that too. And many of them (the taillight, not the riders. Lol) aren't bright at all. What's more, the lights sometimes sit lower than they do on most scooters. Maybe that's why many of them are so loud. Maybe they can be heard instead of seen. Lol.

Retro styling.  Fit the aesthetic of a time when men were real men, women were real women, fuzzy green creatures from Alpha Centauri were REAL fuzzy green creatures from Alpha Centauri, & tailights were small and dim.

He's just joking  :)  That big light was another seller to me, safety first.   Have noticed a few sports bikes that have a very narrow rear led light to suit the modern stying of the bike.
