if i upgrade my rollers on my kymco super 8 40 4stroke, how much more acceleration and topspeed will i acheave?
and what do rollers actually do?

You will achieve, depending if you go for heavier or lighter rollers, the following:
- negligible improvement of the top speed with significant worsening of already poor acceleration, or
- negligible improvement of acceleration with significant worsening of already poor top speed
If you want to achieve anything measurable in both compartments, you should tweak roller weights, entire clutch and clutch springs, and maybe, you will gain a few mph on the top and maybe improve acceleration a bit. This will expose you to a significant cost and quite some work.
