Headlight Upgrades
« on: September 01, 2016, 09:22:32 AM »
Winter is fast approaching here in the UK and most of my riding will soon be done in the dark.. I used the scooter to do a quick run to get some pain killers at 1am this morning and noticed that the headlight on my Agility 50 really isnt that bright. I ride alot of country lanes that have no lighting so being able to see is a top priority for me.

Im considering putting some xenon bulbs in to replace the dipped and high beam on my Agility 50 and Ive got some LED bulbs on order for the running lights.

Before I go ahead with the Xenon bulbs, what headlight upgrades have others done with their Kymco?

I did do a search before I posted but couldn't find anything

The Cree lights would be illegal to use on the public highway here  ::) so that one is a no no.
I looked at the phillips bulbs but I have used them on some of my past scooters and I have to say, I wasn't really that impressed.
Im going to give the Xenon`s a go and see how I get on with them. I might add a LED strip or two to the fork legs on switches to assist with country lanes. I used to have a blue one behind the front wheel that helped somewhat in the dark but Mr.Policeman put a stop to that and forced me to remove it at the side of the road  ::)
