Labor Day & New Boston
« on: September 06, 2016, 12:13:34 AM »
Put on a few doz. miles at sunrise today.
Boots, kevlar jeans - the whole enchilada when I go out of town on the small or big scooter.

Also, this is the w/e that several hundred re-enactors  hold the annual 2-day  "Fair at New Boston" nearby.
This year it was depicting the year 1800.
I was happy to see that these folks finally got a break this year from the heat & humidity which usually plagues their nights and days while participating in this wooded ravine. Most of them spend at least 2 nights in the encampment. Potable water and porta-johns are provided....otherwise it is rough camping with period equipment.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

That looks brilliant, would love to see something like that.
