Swore I'd stop rain riding in the dark until I got some new Michelins, but alas....
Took a break about 1.5 hrs before sunrise today to have some coffee up by the dam.
Out of the darkness and rain from atop the dam come two female joggers. With a dog.

I am sitting on a bench minding my own business.
Because it is raining - I am buttoned up in a large yellow rain jacket over my leather Icon jacket (= bulky) and my open XXXL Yellow modular helmet. I can hear the rain on my Nolan....and I am thinking that I've had better ideas.

Either the dog got loose or the women set him upon me.....the very large spaceman waiting in the dark to do them damage.
Got pretty exciting there for a few minutes. I stood up, thinking, "That's not a pit-bull's bark - Good luck finding a place to bite me."
And, "I might get that pretty left-over S250 out of this."

Really - the brain can work that fast. I even pictured the scooter. It is red.
My favorite scooter color - if the white ones are all gone.

I actually didn't say much of anything - and I did not have to clock the dog with my metal thermal cup. They leashed their dog after they spotted my scooter parked near the ranger station. Apologized profusely and off they went.

There went my RED S250.

I took a pic of the scooter with my cell, and discovered that my phone cannot take a selfie with the flash on.  ??
The scoot....

My attempt to show what I may have looked like  to the joggers - but not dark enough.

On the way home it came to me why I couldn't take a selfie with a flash....the flash is on the other side!
