Those are not the ones I was referring to, due to being technically challenged with computer crap I don't know how to post the ad from the web site so....Go to "sidexsidestuff" website, click on Kymco UXV then scroll down to mirrors then look for 59.99 pr Seizmik mirrors. In the ad there is also a mfgrs video explaining the mirrors and how they work. Mfgr says lifetime warranty,be sure to get the model with the new steel mount, some older models had a plastic mount.

Ok thanks, those you directed me to look pretty good. Do you have them? What do the measure out to? How large is the "rectangle" LxWxH?? Just wouldn't want elephant ears sticking out on the side! haha

With the mirror discussion I went ahead and ordered a set of the Seizmik side mount mirrors for my 450i. They arrived quickly from "side x side stuff" but I found the mount to be different than what is advertised, so I contacted side x side stuff and they addressed the problem right away and a new mounting system is on its way. Very nice people to do business with.
Just finished mounting them and they look good. Only stick out maybe an inch wider than the front tires if that. Anxious to get out on the trails to see how they work.  Just remembered I forgot to take some pics....oh well machine is back out in the barn will try to remember the next time I get out there.

Ok thanks Airshot. I will either go with those or there is one other I am looking at. Go to www.seizmik.com go to mirrors and look at the new "Strike" mirror they have. Pretty much the same thing just looks more like the purist mirror they have that's very popular (but who'd pay 142 bucks for mirrors?!), life guarantee warranty like most there stuff.  The strike mirrors are 69.99. Would love to see a shot of them on your machine, seeing how we will both be getting mud on the same red plastics.

They actually look good on the machine, mine are the 59.99 model, not sure what the name is. Mine are more tall than wide, other models are more wide than tall.  I like the fact that they do not stick out very far and the black on the mirrors housing is a match on the black plastic on the 450i. They really do look like they belong on there not just an add on. With being able to cruise around on the back roads here it will be nice to be able to see traffic better, and when we go riding it will be much easier to keep track of those behind us.  With the lifetime warranty....can't go wrong.

the mirrors I have, I can adjust to be tall or wide, I prefer wide on the street for viewing traffic but tall in the woods where use them for backing up
