Must have tool for heating stubborn bolts
« on: February 23, 2017, 10:50:09 PM »
I purchased a heat gun for about 11 bucks and it has paid for itself many times over! It is simpler to use than a torch, and it is cheap! Just thought I would put it out here in case it could help someone.

I wouldn't have thought that a heat gun could get hot enough?...always thought it required a flame...interesting to hear that it works...thanks for the info!

It gets plenty hot Iahawk! Think of it as a nuclear blow dryer.

This is the other key piece. Spray this 1st and let soak

If you really want the right professional tool, however, it's not a hair dryer
