Two ounces of BB's do the trick for balancing. That's about one half inch of BB's in the bottom of that shot glass.

Karl, how long have you been using this BB method for balancing ?

Do you ever run the tire 1st, to see if it is objectionable ?

I've heard of this method for years, and never tried it, myself...

Tnx

First DT300i had three sets of tires, all but one set balanced with Dyna Beads. One set with BB's. All were absolutely perfect as far as my "seat of the pants" sensation. That was for three years to when it was stolen and wrecked. This DT300i is NOS 2013 and replaced both tires at about 4000 miles and used BB's. Same deal. BB's cheap and effective. No downside noticed so far. I static balanced motorcycle tires/wheels years ago with solid lead wire wrapped around the spokes and it was a PITA! Was the only thing at the time...
