Spent a rainy day replacing the airfilter and applying ACF-50 corrosion treatment to my Burgman.
Only have to remove two easily removed panels to open things up on the engine area. Two Snap pins on the large center panel gets you access to the spark plug, for example.
400.
Burgman owners have an issue with the rear tire throwing road grime atop the rear of the engine....there is no inner fender hugger to prevent this. Some have fabricated a flap to block things form being tossed up there from the rear tire.Like this fellow did:
Before I take my Burgman out again (with it's new, clean airfilter) I am going to make a flap and attach it with some of the scooter clips, crews and panel pins which I have in my spares box.
Perhaps it will help keep the filter from collecting so much crud in only a very few thousand miles.
Do you Kymco owners have a similar problem?
