Agility 125 bore kit
« on: July 25, 2017, 05:46:14 AM »
Can anyone recommend a bore kit for the 125? It's out of warranty. Time to think about doing stuff to it  ;D
I'm not expecting a demon but there is a two mile stretch of bypass I really would like to access to get across the river and over to some fishing and camping areas I like, rather than going 20 miles around to a two lane bridge. the extra oomph might be enough. and if not, might be fun anyway.

I just haven't noticed a lot of performance stuff for 125's

I can't see why the generic GY6 kits wouldn't be OK, but the usual warnings apply:  don't go crazy with power mods that tank the bottom end, modify the carb/exhaust to get the most from the bigger bore and plan to test and experiment with the right rollers and clutch setup.  Keep us posted on what you decide to do and how it all works out.

Hi,

I'm also looking at upgrading to a 150 kit. I have a concern that the crankcase diameter where the bottom of the barrel goes may be too small and need machining out.
Has anyone actuality fitted a bigger bore than a 125?

Thanks

I have agility, 125 R16. I've put the cylinder 160 on a no-load basis. The main dive # 110 and variomat sport top performance with weights of 13.5 grams.
