I inserted the flat tip of a straight screwdriver in a slot on the front for mine and it popped out. It kind of opened like a remote control battery cover does. I just tried gently and it came right out easily. Hope that helps, stiffii.

Like Rianna said... it can be stubborn. It is a tight fit.
You could take the whole bucket out with four bolts. if the p150 is like the P250, there are two behind the battery cover and two at the bottom, near the front edge. the seat stays attached.. These the photos for my P250. I changed the bolts behind the battery so they are the same size as the other ones (10MM)

if you just want to adjust the idle you can do it through the little door in the under seat compartment, one phillips screw and lift towards the front. . Anything more and you'll want to pull the whole seat bucket out.

Found it, thanks. I was just trying to open the wrong end! There is a screw, on the back side, and the plastic tab (the remote control back thingy). I just had to remove the screw and it popped off.
Unfortunately, adjusting the idle didn't help

Oops, sorry, stiffi, I didn't realize you had a people 150 when I posted. I didn't know about the screw...
What's your scoot doing?

Read my "Engine Stall out at High Speeds" thread.
I was getting dropouts at 60 mph or greater. The shop replaced the carb, but now I'm having issues with the idle. I was trying to adjust the idle screw.

Might try your air idle screw.you will need to pull the whole bucket to get to that one
