1st fill-up of Liberty mpg
« on: August 06, 2017, 12:47:56 PM »
First fill up this morning w/ BP......95.4 mpg.
City riding, with one 40 mile distant ride on a country road. Still varying the throttle, etc, for break in.
Very tight fuel neck...no room to watch gas level with a flashlight. Gas nozzle just fits into opening. There seems to be a 'stop' down in the neck...so I touch that with nozzle tip,  fill slowly until automatic shut off.
Handy trip odometer so I can track ea. fill-up....more amazing that it is simple enough that even I can use it while at a busy gas station!
I rely on my teenagers to handle all digital stuff....

That's like nearly the combined fuel mileage of both my scooters. Your footprint is getting greener Tom, we're all proud for you. Just take it easy on dem donuts as it takes allot of resources to make a jelly roll.

Yeah Tortoise,
That Robot video review, and the justgottascoot review went a long way towards selling me on this scooter...including the accessory Piaggio fly screen. I also liked the fact that they had produced this basic design and the i-GET  3V engines in great numbers.
I have liked the big wheel scooters since seeing one yrs ago in my Haynes, "The Scooter Book". Kymco's  People One is a real favorite of mine. But not avail. to me.
Robot's video also showed me how to access the valve cover screws for my 1st valve check.
