Or in Canada?
Called my dealer the other day - they of course said they have no word on the 2017 LIKE. Moreover, they were not aware it would be any different that last year's model.
Wanted me to come see the ones they have in stock.
My son finds the same lack of knowledge in the salesman when he goes to talk new bikes with them. Sometimes they do have the new bike in stock - but they know nothing about it.
Makes us both wonder what the salesman are doing between those few times a week when they are dealing with a sale. If they even glanced through a motorcycle mag they would have some knowledge of new bikes.
I have NO expectations when I go to look at scooters with these guys.
"That's a sweet ride, there!" is the extent of their knowledge when standing over a scooter.
Fortunately, for both of us - they've no recollection of saying that to me for four years.
Now, I do find that the parts counter guys know stuff - it is evident that they all actually ride bikes.
I met with the parts manager and had a good discussion about the proper lubricants for my new Piaggio.
And, because I've been to his counter for oil for 3 different scooters before - he gave me employees pricing for the Belray oil I purchased.
