Yep the Kymco Super 8 uses 2 x 35/35 light bulbs... Mine does anyway.
Although in the electric diagram that i have it says 2 x 18/18 watt... so i guess that some use 18/18 and others use 35/35 watt.
The bulb you link to only has 1 wire... so there are no short light.... its just the long light and i dont know it its the same socket. You need a light bulb with a socket called HS1.
The generator can deliver 144 watt at 5000 rpm so if you have 2 x 55 watt front light thats 110 so now you only have 34 watt for the other lights and charging the battery so i think you will drain the battery if you use those bulbs.
Also the Kymco Super 8 have a light control box which may f*** things up. When i blow one of my head lights the other bulb should continue to ligt right ?... no so on the Kymco super 8 because the light control box shouts of the other light also after 2 seconds so now you dont have any light at all. You could try and mount just 1 x 55 watt in the front light and remove the other bulb but i think the light control box will not have it and shout it off after 2 seconds.
