How does everybody clean their Xciting 500?
« on: November 25, 2017, 06:33:04 AM »
I was wondering what you all think is the best method of cleaning our Xciting 500's?

I am looking for something quick and easy.

Can I use a pre-soak soapy hose before a more forceful hose to get all the soap out?

Basically, Can I, should I, use only hoses?

Thanks.

Applies to any two-wheel vehicle: Murphy oil soap in a bucket with a terrycloth wash rag. Wet 'er down with garden hose then wash by hand and rag. Wash the whole bike in the shade then rinse. Wash sections and rinse if stuck in sunlight. After all is rinsed, chamois with a leaf blower. Works better than a chamois especially these days. Most chamois are artificial and are very poor. Real chamois is real expensive!
