The minimum amount of copper also acts as a lubricant. much the same as Lead used to in gasoline. the "squeel" is primarily an oscillation caused by parts "sticking" and not form the pad/rotor contact, as in if the parts can move the pads pull away from the rotor. The anti seize allows the caliper to float, and the rtv creates a buffer between the pads, and the caliper. The Brake quiet Batman suggested is another product that works. I have used it, and alot of aftermarket brake kits will have a tiny tube of it w/ new pads. The key ingredient is the same as rtv, silicone! If you do the sliders w/ anti seize, there is not much of a difference between the two.
