Been looking at this scooter at our local dealer and was just wondering if anyone here has had a ride on one. Can't take one for a test ride but am very interested in how it handles the bumps and how it steers with the big 16" front wheel. Since I have the 125 Like the couple of extra HP would be appreciated.
Stig, if you read this then how do you find the larger wheels on the Piggio compared to the Like.

The extra straight line stability of the Piaggio's 16" front wheel over the LIKE's 12" is the first thing I noticed.....and I've gained a few mph in my "happy speed" as a result. I'm comfortably cruising a country road - look down and I'm going 5+/- mph faster than I would be on the LIKE200i.
The Liberty also takes road irregularities with more aplomb.
I really notice the difference when hopping on the LIKE200i the next day.
Are the big wheels less maneuverable in the city?
Nah....you never had any problems on your pedal bike as a kid, did you?
Partly what is going on with me is that I wanted a big wheel scooter from the beginning --- but there weren't any in my price range at that time.
