« on: July 15, 2010, 03:25:05 AM »
picked up a small nail in my back tire . was thinking should I go with  a plug it from the out side or do it the hard way and take tire off and to it right and patch from the inside . well I tell ya sometimes the hard way works out best now im on the road again and ready to ride. but soon need to get new tires but I want more traction anyone know wear I can look for better tires with more traction.

..you need that viper stryke in your life...

..when you replace the rear tire with one of those, you're going to like it so much that you'll want to go ahead and replace the front too....these tires stick like glue...

..i got my a50 vipers at that same place..

..plugs work, but patches are more fool-proof...

I've been a tire slime guy,not so fun on the next tire change though,It can actuelly seal new puncters  for a several month period also if not in the upper sidewall, but can unseal if parked for any amount of time on the damaged area.Been using this on my tractor for years and a couple trucks, tubless but not a scoot yet

Plugs are a good temporary, emergency, get you home sort of repair. Having said that, I had a plug in the rear tyre for nearly a year before replacing the tyre.

They got them at the same sight if ya look around a bit, good prices and quick shipping,I have a set like that on an eton beamer don't think they would be great on slick roads but are awsome in the gravel.
