Hotel built recently in my little coffee village. Daughter and I had pastry and coffee out on the veranda there shortly after they opened up.
They served non-fat skim-milk with the coffee!!
It was all my daughter could do to stop me from getting up from the table and walking 1.5 blocks down the street to Tom's market to buy them a quart of half&half.
They've put a sign out now on the sidewalk, " fill your coffee mug for $1"
Nope ....I'll park my scooter there - but they blew it with that first cup of coffee. Plus, if I'd walk in there with my helmet on they'd all drop behind the desk and call 911.
I get friendly smiles at Dino's, the Dog, or the Goat ever' time.....no matter how much frozen snot I have in my mustache.
